Spend some time this weekend finalizing your partner-plans, and your design. I put a document on my Teachers folder that might help you design it in Omnigraffle, if you wanted to design it on the laptop. (Paper designs are fine, if you'd rather!)

Introduction:

Hydrogen and Carbon atoms can combine in many ways to make useful chemical fuels. The simplest kind of hydrocarbon is known as an "alkane" and we will learn the first ten in the series.
